City of Chicago
After George Floyd’s murder, boarded-up businesses became canvases for grief and hope. When those boards came down, we transformed them into voting booths and placed them in under-represented neighborhoods, turning protest into lasting change. Endorsed by the Mayor of Chicago, the effort empowered first-time voters and sparked a national conversation at a moment of deep division and helplessness. It won a Black Pencil at D&AD and the Titanium Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, but its greatest achievement was proving that collective action can turn pain into progress and give people the power to shape the country’s future.
